Wiley X PTX Prescription Insert — Full Vision Correction Behind Ballistic Protection

The Wiley X PTX Prescription Insert allows glasses wearers to use their prescription lenses inside compatible Wiley X frames — without sacrificing ballistic protection or the ability to swap outer shields. Take the insert to your optician, have your prescription lenses fitted, and clip it directly into the frame behind the outer shield. Simple, secure, and fully compatible with the interchangeable lens system.

How It Works

The PTX insert mounts above the nose piece on the inside of the frame. Once your optician has fitted your prescription lenses into the insert, it clicks in and stays securely in place. The outer ballistic shields remain fully interchangeable — switch between grey, clear or light rust as needed while keeping your prescription correction in place at all times.

Important Notes

• Sold without lenses — prescription lenses must be fitted by a qualified optician
• For use with WX Vapor 2.2: requires the adjustable nose piece (35NPA), or purchase the combined Rx Insert Kit for Vapor (35RXA)
• Not compatible with the fixed nose piece for Vapor (CH35NP)
• Prescription range: +/- 6.00
