Speras M1

The SPERAS M1 is a mini EDC flashlight that punches far above its size class. With a CREE XPL2-W2 LED, up to 1000 lumens and 119 m of usable beam, it covers everything from admin tasks on the range to night walks and vehicle use – without taking more space than a marker pen. 

A simple side switch UI gives fast access to its modes, including a low mode you can reach in a single step and mode memory to recall your last-used level. A built-in electronic lockout prevents accidental activation in pockets or bags. 

One of the M1’s standout features is its dual-fuel compatibility: it runs on both 14500 Li-ion cells (for maximum 1000 lm output) and AA alkaline / Ni-MH batteries for ultimate flexibility in the field. That makes it a great backup for officers and shooters who may only have AA cells available in an emergency. 

A magnetic tail cap lets you stick the light to vehicles, cabinets or equipment for hands-free work – useful for armoury tasks, range setup or improvised work lighting. Inside, the M1 features over-discharge protection, reverse polarity protection, smart temperature control and a battery capacity indicator, keeping both light and cell protected during hard use. 

Despite the feature set, the M1 weighs only 36.6 g and measures 91 × 19 mm, with a high-strength aerospace aluminium body, orange-peel reflector, hardened AR-coated glass lens and IPX8 waterproof rating – compact enough to disappear in your pocket, tough enough to live in a duty bag.

Pros

Cons
